AWE USA 2024, the 15th annual spatial computing event, took place from June 18-20, 2024, in Long Beach, California. The event's purpose was to celebrate a breakthrough year in XR (Extended Reality) and immerse attendees in the world of spatial computing.

The expo was truly epic, hosting over 6,000 attendees, more than 300 exhibitors showcasing the latest spatial computing technology, and over 500 speakers who were product leaders in the field. Spanning over 150,000 square feet, the event offered extensive opportunities to learn from experts, build a global network, and try new technologies. The expo was open Tuesday through Thursday.

Jonathan de Armas (JdA) from Island Pitch was present at the event to volunteer. Highlights from the event included seeing a robot dog making its rounds on the expo floor, a vivid reminder of how quickly the lines between the digital and physical worlds are blurring. Attendees also connected with fellow innovators, including friends from EVR XR. The atmosphere was highly energetic, reinforcing that the future is now and "feeling incredibly spatial".
