The NGLCC Conference 2022, also known as #NGLCC22, was recognized as the largest LGBT business event globally, held during the first week of August 2022 (with pre-programming starting August 2) at the Bellagio Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas. The conference's purpose was to develop, empower, and amplify LGBT businesses worldwide, uniting nearly 1,500 LGBTQ+ entrepreneurs and allies, corporate supplier diversity leaders, and business experts.
Key highlights of the event included workshops on communication and storytelling, sessions for affiliate chamber leaders, and corporate/supplier walk & talks designed to foster networking and business opportunities. The conference also featured a Marketplace Expo and Matchmaker sessions for one-on-one discussions between corporate buyers and LGBTBE® suppliers. The event concluded with a Champagne Awards Brunch where various awards were presented to individuals and organizations for their contributions to the LGBT business community.
Jonathan de Armas (JdA) from Island Pitch attended this significant conference. He notably saw a speech from Robert Herjavec of Shark Tank fame, who also received the NGLCC Champion of Enterprise Award at the event. JdA also witnessed a performance by Pepper Mashay.
