SMS Terms & Conditions

These SMS Terms & Conditions ("SMS Terms") govern your participation in the Island Pitch text messaging program (the "Program") operated by Island Pitch LLC ("Island Pitch," "we," "us," or "our"). By opting in to the Program, you agree to these SMS Terms, our Terms of Use, and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not opt in to receive text messages from us.

1. Program Description

The Program is an opt-in mobile messaging service through which Island Pitch sends campaign updates, event invitations, content alerts, promotional messages, and conversational replies to subscribers who have consented to receive them. The Program is part of Island Pitch's broader unified messaging effort, which may also reach you through email, Instagram (comments and direct messages), Facebook Messenger, and other social messaging platforms you have opted in to. Each channel is governed by its own consent — opting in to SMS does not opt you in to other channels, and opting out of SMS does not opt you out of other channels.

2. How to Opt In

You may opt in to the Program by any of the following methods:

  • Submitting your mobile number through an online form on islandpitch.com and checking the SMS consent box.
  • Texting a designated keyword to our short code or long code as advertised in a specific campaign.
  • Providing your mobile number in person at an Island Pitch event and checking the SMS consent box on the sign-up sheet or device.

Consent is not a condition of any purchase. By opting in, you confirm that you are the subscriber or customary user of the mobile number provided, that you are at least 18 years of age (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction), and that you authorize Island Pitch and its messaging subprocessors to send recurring text messages to that number using an automatic telephone dialing system or prerecorded voice technology where applicable.

3. Message Frequency

Message frequency varies based on the campaigns you have opted in to and your interactions with us. You may receive recurring messages.

4. Message and Data Rates

Message and data rates may apply. Island Pitch does not charge you for the messages we send through the Program, but your mobile carrier may charge you standard messaging and data fees depending on your plan. Check with your carrier if you are unsure about the cost of receiving text messages.

5. How to Stop Messages (Opt Out)

You can cancel the SMS service at any time. Reply STOP to any message you receive from us, and you will receive a single confirmation that you have been unsubscribed. After that confirmation, you will not receive additional messages from the Program unless you opt in again. The opt-out keywords STOP, END, CANCEL, UNSUBSCRIBE, and QUIT are all honored.

To opt out of all Island Pitch messaging across every channel (SMS, email, and social DMs), email privacy@islandpitch.com with the subject line "Opt Out of All Messaging."

6. How to Get Help

For help, reply HELP to any message you receive from us, and you will receive a response with contact information and a link back to these SMS Terms. You can also contact our team at support@islandpitch.com.

7. Supported Carriers

The Program is available on most major US wireless carriers, including AT&T, T-Mobile, Verizon Wireless, Sprint, Boost, U.S. Cellular, MetroPCS, Cricket, and Virgin Mobile USA, as well as many smaller and regional carriers. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

8. Privacy & Data Sharing

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties.

The only parties that may receive your mobile information are the subprocessors strictly required to deliver the messages you have requested — specifically our SMS messaging platform and the telecommunications carriers that route your messages — and only for the purpose of sending, routing, and supporting those messages on our behalf.

9. Service Availability & Errors

Island Pitch and its messaging subprocessors do not guarantee that every message will be delivered, that messages will be delivered in a timely manner, or that the Program will be available without interruption. Delivery is subject to effective transmission from your wireless carrier and the availability of the underlying messaging network, neither of which is controlled by Island Pitch. Carriers and Island Pitch are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

10. Changes to the Program or These SMS Terms

We may modify, suspend, or terminate the Program, or update these SMS Terms, at any time. When we make material changes to these SMS Terms, we will update the "Last Updated" date above and, where required by law, notify you in advance. Continued participation in the Program after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated SMS Terms.
