We’re searching for a WordPress & HubSpot Experience Engineer — someone who knows how to bend WordPress and HubSpot to their will, build clean custom plugins, connect data streams, power up eCommerce (hello, WooCommerce), and integrate it all into a flexible, automation-ready digital system.

🎯 Key Responsibilities

⚡️ WordPress Development & Customization

Evaluate, select, and tailor WordPress themes to meet project goals.
Build and customize child themes with clean, accessible HTML/CSS matching each brand’s look and feel.
Develop custom plugins when off-the-shelf just won’t cut it.
Integrate external APIs for user accounts, content, or data sync.
Configure and maintain WooCommerce stores — from product templates to secure payment workflows.

🔗 HubSpot CMS & CRM Integration

Design, customize, and maintain HubSpot themes, modules, CTAs, forms, and chat tools.
Connect WordPress sites and WooCommerce data with HubSpot CRM for marketing, automation, and reporting.
Implement tracking, automation triggers, and conversion flows that work behind the scenes.

🧩 Cross-Crew Collaboration

Work hand-in-hand with our Node.js + React devs, serverless crew, and copywriters to bring dynamic, data-driven websites to life.
Build pages and templates that play nice with our automation workflows (yes, we use AI tools and bots to boost productivity).
Ensure that all user experiences meet WCAG 2.1 accessibility standards.

🚀 Continuous Improvement

Promote best practices for performance, SEO, and security.
Help document processes and share learnings with the crew.
Keep an eye on updates in WordPress, HubSpot, WooCommerce, and modern dev tools — and pitch smart upgrades.

📚 Qualifications

Required:

Strong PHP skills for advanced WordPress theme and plugin development.
2+ years hands-on building, customizing, and launching WordPress sites.
Proven experience with HubSpot CMS — modules, themes, and CRM integrations.
Working knowledge of WooCommerce setup, theme hooks, and payment gateways.
Solid HTML, CSS, and JavaScript chops.
Comfort with Git and collaborative version control workflows.
Awareness of WCAG 2.1 accessibility principles and practical application.

Desired

Familiarity with JavaScript frameworks (React, Vue.js, or similar).
Experience with preprocessors like SASS or LESS.
Understanding of SEO best practices for technical and on-page content.
Comfort experimenting with AI-assisted coding tools and automation platforms (like Cursor, Make.com, or Zapier).
